A transcription or translation of spoken language in video or presentation contact that is generated by a speech-recognition algorithm.  These vary greatly in their ability to accurately convey spoken language and it is highly recommended that before a presenter shares auto-captioned content, they read the transcript to ensure accuracy of information.
